These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WriteReal mobile application, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by WriteReal ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Some features require a paid subscription. Depending on where you subscribe, payments are processed by:
- Apple App Store or Google Play Store for in-app purchases on mobile. Those purchases are subject to the applicable store's terms. You manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Paddle for subscriptions purchased on the WriteReal website or web app. Paddle is the merchant of record for those payments. You manage or cancel them through the Paddle customer portal (accessible from the Service or from Paddle billing emails).
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period, according to the rules of the store or billing provider that processed your purchase (for App Store / Play Store purchases, typically at least 24 hours before renewal).
When you cancel, access generally continues until the end of the period you already paid for, unless the billing provider states otherwise. Refunds, if any, are handled under the policies of Apple, Google, or Paddle, as applicable.
Introductory offers, free trials, and promotional pricing may be available only once per account or device, as determined by the store and our billing providers.
4. Use of the Service
You may use WriteReal to humanize, refine, and manage text for lawful personal or professional purposes. You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights;
- submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing;
- attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted.
You retain ownership of the text you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide and improve the Service.
5. AI Output
WriteReal uses automated systems to transform text. Outputs may be inaccurate or inappropriate for some contexts. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using generated content before publishing or relying on it.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, branding, and design, is owned by WriteReal and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials except as needed to use the Service.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WRITEREAL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice within the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
